3D Printing The Black Arrow from The Lord of the Rings - The Hobbit Trilogy | LOTR Replica Prop

 Hi Everyone! This is another replica that has been on my to-do list for several years, and it felt like it was about time with the release of the season 2 of The Rings of Power. It took me a while to figure out the correct way to sculpt the arrowhead because it is a twist within a twist, but after several hours I finally managed to get there. 

Also, after a ton of research and screenshot comparison, I ended up making the prop to the correct scale as what's seen in the films, which is about 7' in length. The replicas from manufactures list the length as 6' and say that it's a 1:1 scale, but by comparing the screen used prop with the height of Luke Evans (who is 6'), a 6' arrow was too small and needed to be taller than the actor. So, after a ton of measuring I landed on the 7' length.
